Edinboro University Fall 2021 Psychology Internships – Edinboro University

This fall, 13 Edinboro University students completed 5,850 hours of community service
during their fall internships. Each student completed this internship as a requirement
for a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Students in the Department of Psychology participate in a 12-credit internship at
various sites throughout the Erie County region and Pennsylvania. Undergraduate internships
in psychology are typically undertaken by students following their junior year. Internships
provide students with an opportunity to obtain professional work experience in a variety
of settings in the field of psychology.

The following students completed internships during Fall 2021.


Megan Anderson

Lakeview School District

Supervisor: Alyse Mundt, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, School Psychologist
at Lakeview School District

Plans: I plan to receive my Bachelors of Psychology in the spring of 2022, then pursue
Edinboro’s School Psychology Graduate program.

Danielle Burhenn

Safe Harbor UPMC Western Behavioral Health

Supervisor: Stacey Buettner, LCSW, Program Director

Plans: Entering into the work field as a Crisis Technician with Crisis Services.

“Assessing people for mental health resource recommendations. No matter where you’re
at, over the phone or in person, Crisis Services will be there to assist you.”

Plans: Working at Crisis Services, getting a peer specialist certification
